The Intervene Challenge Returns to Pike County

Since 2012 more than 26,000 individuals have participated in the Intervene Challenge and the need has never been greater. Since 2020 many communities have experienced an increased suicide rate of more than 100%. But we also know that intervention saves lives!

Listen Learn Lead® (L3) serves as the primary curriculum. The training will be conducted by Dr. Lou Koon, the author of Listen Learn Lead and founder of the Intervene Challenge. Lou has used his L3 core values and principles in conducting more than 2,000 successful suicide interventions in both military and civilian communities. Clients served include military commands, churches, universities, and more than 500 First Responder Agencies nationwide.
